Should you buy the Motorola Edge 50 Pro?
Here’s what we said in our Motorola Edge 50 Pro review.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro demands attention, despite a few shortcomings. The handset’s front camera and battery life are not top-tier. However, the smartphone makes up for these with its eye-catching design, fluent display, impressive camera setup, and premium features such as wireless charging support, lightning-fast wired charging speeds, and solid build quality.
Pros | Cons |

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is placed in a segment where it looks to take on the new POCO X7 Pro, Redmi Note 14 Pro+, OnePlus Nord 4, and Realme GT 6T. Here’s how it fares against these models in the benchmarks.
Model | AnTuTu | Geekbench Single-Core | Geekbench Multi-Core |
POCO X7 Pro | 15,57,069 | 1,590 | 6,250 |
Realme GT 6T | 14,50,949 | 1,826 | 4,544 |
Redmi Note 14 Pro+ | 7,25,812 | 1,168 | 3,234 |
Motorola Edge 50 Pro | 8,27,237 | 1,142 | 3,119 |
OnePlus Nord 4 | 11,69,622 | 1,744 | 4,365 |
As you can see from the benchmarks, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro isn’t the best scorer in the list, which suggests the performance may not be great when compared with the competition, as rightly mentioned in the ‘Cons’ section. However, it does lead the pack in our list of smartphones with the best camera under Rs 30,000.
If having an eye-catching design, rapid charging support, great display, impressive cameras and clean stock Android skin are your priority then the Motorola Edge 50 Pro can be a good buy at the discounted price but if performance is your main requirement, there are other worthy competitors like the Realme GT 6T, Nord 4 and POCO X7 Pro.
