To recall, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro was launched in the country back in April last year. Now, months later, it appears that the successor could be on its way. Here are the details.
Alleged Motorola Edge 60 Pro BIS certification details
- A new Motorola phone with the model number XT2503-2 model number has secured the BIS certification, as spotted by Xpertpick.
- To recall, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Edge 40 Pro bear the model numbers XT2403-4 and XT2303-2, respectively.
- The new XT2503-2, is believed to arrive as the Motorola Edge 60 Pro.
Recently, the possible global variant of the phone with the model number XT2503-4 secured the EEC certification. Besides the model number, the certifications don’t reveal much else about the phone at this point but since it started appearing online, we should be greeted with more details in the days to come.
If the Motorola XT2503-2 is indeed the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, it will come as a follow-up to the Edge 50 Pro, which debuted at Rs 31,999 for the base model.
To recall, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, 50MP triple cameras, including a 10MP telephoto lens, 4,500mAh battery with 125W fast wired-charging and wireless charging support. The successor is expected to bring some notable upgrades.
In related news, another Motorola phone with the model number XT2507-1 bagged the EEC certification. While the listing doesn’t mention the name or any hardware details, it is said to be a part of the Edge 60 series, possibly the vanilla Edge 60.
