Motorola Edge 60 series launched globally; Edge 60 Pro confirmed to launch in India soon

Motorola Edge 60 and Motorola Edge 60 Pro have launched globally as the midrange successors to the Edge 50 and Edge 50 Pro. Both newcomers have IP69 rating, a 50MP front camera, a 50MP triple rear camera setup with 3x optical zoom capability, and a 6.7-inch pOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro has a more powerful processor, a wider ultrawide camera, a bigger battery, and faster charging support. The Pro model is tipped to launch in India this month, and the company has listed it on its official website, and also started teasing the forthcoming Edge series’ arrival in India via Flipkart. 

Motorola Edge 60 series India launch details (expected)

• Motorola India has put out a poster on the Flipkart Mobile app that says the “New Edge” is coming soon. 

• Meanwhile, 91mobiles has spotted the Motorola Edge 60 Pro listing on the Motorola India website in Pantone Shadow, Pantone Dazzling Blue, and Pantone Sparkling Grape. It is listed with 8+256GB and 12+256GB memory options. The phone’s price and sale details are not out yet. 
• Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims the Motorola Edge 60 Pro will be launching in India by the end of this month. 

Motorola Edge 60 series specifications, price (global)

• Display: Both phones have a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120Hz quad-curved pOLED screen with up to 4500 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support.
• Cameras: Both phones have the same 50MP selfie camera and 50MP main camera (with OIS). They even share a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The difference is in the 50MP ultrawide snapper’s field of view. The Pro model has a 122-degree FoV while the vanilla variant has a 120-degree FoV.
• Processor: The standard Motorola Edge 60 has a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC (2.5GHz) while the Motorola Edge 60 Pro packs a more powerful Dimensity 8350 chipset (3.35GHz).
• Battery: Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 60 has a 5,200mAh battery with 68W fast charging support, and the Motorola Edge 60 Pro has a 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging speed.
• Miscellaneous: They feature Android 15, USB-C 2.0, an in-screen fingerprint reader, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The vanilla model has microSD card support.
• Price: Motorola Edge 60 starts at 379.99 GBP (about Rs 43,000), and the Edge 60 Pro starts at 599.99 GBP (about Rs 68,000).

The Motorola.in listing confirms the same specs for the Pro model in India. The phone will come with 3 OS and a 4-year security patch update promise. It mentions a fourth Multispectral 3-in-1 light sensor (exposure, auto white balance, flicker) on the rear camera setup. We will update you as we have more details about the India release.
