The Motorola Edge 60 Pro and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro are quite distinct in terms of design. With the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, you get a sleek curved design with a vegan leather back. It features a slim form factor and the leather finish should give a good in-hand feel. The Edge 60 Pro also comes with an IP68/ IP69 rating and MIL-STD 810H certification for durability.

Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, on the other hand, has a transparent back with LED lights that can be customised for different actions. It’s safe to say that the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro offers a unique designs in the segment. However, it comes with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, so it’s not as durable as the Motorola phone.

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro features a 6.7-inch (1220×2712 pixels) 1.5K Super HD quad-curved pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and 4,500 nits peak brightness. In comparison, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro has a 6.77-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2392 pixels) AMOLED flat display, with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness, and Panda Glass protection.

Simply based on the specs, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro has a brighter display and better screen durability as well.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. On the other hand, the Phone (3a) Pro runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera lens, and a 10MP telephoto sensor. It has a 50MP front camera for selfies. In comparison, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro houses a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP periscope camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, you get a 50MP front camera.

Both phones offer a versatile camera setup so you should get decent results from either of the phones.

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro packs a 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging support. The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro has a smaller 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging support and 7.5W reverse wired charging. It doesn’t support wireless charging though. Based on the specs, it’s clear that the Motorola Edge 60 Pro has more to offer in the battery department.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro runs Hello UI based on Android 15 out of the box. The phone offers a near-stock Android experience, and you’ll get three Android upgrades and four years of security patches. It comes with Moto AI along with a dedicated AI key and features including Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini Live.

Nothing Phone (3a) Pro also launches with Android 15 and Nothing OS 3.1 layered on top. Like the Edge 60 Pro, this phone will also get three OS upgrades until Android 18. But the software support is longer up to six years. Nothing OS also offer a clean UI experience with functional customisations. It features an Essential Key to capture screenshots, voice recordings, and put them together in an AI-powered app called Essential Space.
