“Motorola Edge+ will feature 12GB of RAM and run on Android 10 out of the box, as per the Geekbench listing”
Motorola is working on launching a new premium smartphone dubbed the Motorola Edge+. So far, the company has not given an official word as to when the Motorola Edge+ will be launched, but given that the device has already stopped by the Geekbench listing, we can expect that the launch date is imminent. The Motorola Edge+ Geekbench listing reveals a few key specifications of the smartphone including 12GB RAM and Android 10 OS. The Motorola Edge+ could be the flagship phone that is rumoured to launch at MWC 2020 in February. Let’s have a look at all the specifications on the Geekbench listing for the Motorola Edge+.
Motorola Edge+ specifications
As seen in the Geekbench listing image, the Motorola Edge+ has score 4,106 in the single-core test and 12,823 in the multi-core test. The listing also confirms that the Motorola Edge+ will be powered with a 1.80GHz octa-core chipset. The motherboard is listed as ”burton” on the Geekbench page. Coming to the rest of the specifications, the Motorola Edge+ will run on Android 10 out of the box. The SoC will be paired with 12GB of RAM. There, however, are likely going to be more memory variants of the device. Furthermore, the Motorola Edge+ is tipped to feature a punch-hole display. The device will be sold via Verizon.
Other than the specifications that we mentioned, the details surrounding the Motorola Edge+ are pretty scarce for now, but we can expect to hear more about the device in the days to come. Meanwhile, Motorola is also said to be working on a smartphone with a stylus, dubbed the Motorola G Stylus. Just like the Motorola Edge+, the Motorola G Stylus is also being tipped to sport a punch-hole camera display, and the overall design of the device is reminiscent of the Motorola One Action smartphone. Additionally, the company is also looking to launch the Moto G8 and Moto G8 Power smartphones soon.
