“The Motorola One Vision smartphone features a hole-punch display, 48-megapixel main sensor, and Samsung Exynos 9609 SoC”
Lenovo-owned Motorola has started sharing a ‘block your date’ invite for “another premium device” launch on June 20th in India. The company didn’t state exactly which device it’s going to be; however, as reported by us previously, it could be Motorola One Vision. After its unveiling at an event in Brazil, the handset was spotted on the BIS website in India last month. It’s the first smartphone from the brand with a hole-punch display, similar to Samsung Infinity O display, to the house selfie camera. Not just that, the Motorola One Vision also rocks Samsung’s Exynos chipset, dual rear cameras with a 48-megapixel main sensor, and vanilla Android running out of the box.
The Motorola One Vision’s price in India is likely to be around Rs 25,000 mark. To recall the specifications, the handset is part of the Android One programme, which means it’ll run Android 9 Pie out of the box and will get software support for up to 3 years. The phone sports a 6.3-inch display with a tall aspect ratio 21:9 aspect ratio and a full-HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,520 pixels). At its core lies 2.2GHz octa-core Exynos 9609 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage, which is user expandable up to 512GB using microSD card.
For photography, the Motorola One Vision boasts 48MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture on the rear and 25-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies and video calling. The handset houses a 3,500mAh battery with TurboCharge support, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Google features such as Digital Wellbeing and Assistant. The phone comes in Sapphire Blue and Bronze colour options and offers connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, and dual SIM support (hybrid).
