Motorola has launched five next-generation Moto G-series phones, which spread across the mid-range to the flagship lineup. These include Moto G200, Moto G71, Moto G51, Moto G41 and Moto G31. All the models come with 5,000mAh battery capacities but support different fast charging rates, centre-positioned punch-hole cutout and the iconic Moto dimple on the back. The flagship Moto G200 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset that will enable 5G network connectivity. All the new Moto phones run near-stock Android 11 with MyUX tools and the company is promising just one major Android OS update.

Motorola G200 specifications

Moto G100 sports a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10, DCI-P3 colour gamut and punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 12GB/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage that is further expandable via microSD card. There is a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. The company claims a 15-minute charge can last an entire day. It is IP52 rated for splash resistance.

As for cameras, Moto G200 has a triple-camera setup at the back, led by a 108MP primary sensor with 2.1µm effective pixel size when using 9-in-1 binning and it can record 8K videos. The main camera is accompanied by a 13MP ultra wide-angle camera with autofocus and it also doubles as a macro camera, and a depth sensor. There is a 16MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.

Moto G71 specifications

Moto G71 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset that was announced recently.  It is claimed to offer 15 percent higher CPU and 30 percent higher GPU performance. It sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and punch-hole cutout for selfies. The phone packs 6GB of RAM but there will be an 8GB RAM model in India and 128GB built-in storage that will be further expandable via a microSD card slot. The Moto G71 has a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. The main camera can record 1080p videos at 60fps. There is a 5000mAh battery with a 30W fast charging speed. There is Dolby Atmos and IP52 rating for water-repellent.

The Moto G51 specifications include a 6.8-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole cutout. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset coupled with Adreno 619 GPU, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB storage that is expandable. There is Dolby Atmos support and the phone runs on Android 11 OS out of the box. There is a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. It has a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging speeds. The phone has a 13MP (16MP in select markets) snapper on the front.

The Moto G41 sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display with the standard 60Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of built-in storage that is further expandable via a microSD slot. There is a 48MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 13MP selfie snapper, a 5000mAh battery, Dolby Atmos and IP52 rating. The phone supports 30W fast charging and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Moto G31 has a 6.4-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and FHD+ pixels resolution. It is powered by the Helio G85 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and either 64GB or 128GB storage that is expandable via a microSD card. There is a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The main sensor can record 1080p videos at 30fps. It has a 13MP selfie snapper and a 5000mAh battery but charges slowly at 10W. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
