Motorola teases new Edge series phones in India, could be the Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro

Motorola has officially teased the launch of its upcoming Edge-series smartphones in India. However, the exact names of the devices and the launch date have not been revealed. As per leaks and rumours, the upcoming offerings are expected to be the Motorola Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro. So far this month, the Lenovo-owned brand has unveiled the Edge 60 Stylus, Moto Book 60, Moto Pad 60 Pro, and Moto Tag in the country. 

Motorola Edge 60 phones teased to launch soon

  • Motorola has shared a teaser video on its X handle that confirms the launch of two devices. 
  • The Lenovo-owned brand is teasing the upcoming phones with the hashtag #EdgeofExcellence. 
  • It also confirms that the devices will ship with Moto AI 2.0 which is Motorola’s own suite of AI features such as catch me up, remember this, and pay attention. 
  • The two devices could be the Motorola Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro. These are also teased to launch alongside the Motorola Razr 60 series in the global markets tomorrow. 
  • The smartphones will be arriving as the successor to the last year’s Motorola Edge 50 and Edge 50 Pro. 
  • The rest of the details of the upcoming Motorola Edge phones remain under the wraps. 

Motorola Edge 60, Edge 60 Pro: what we know so far

  • The Motorola Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro will have the same design with a square-shaped camera island on the back. 
  • Both phones are expected to feature a 6.67-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a fingerprint scanner. 
  • The Motorola Edge 60 will reportedly be powered by a Dimensity 7300/7400 SoC and a 5,500mAh battery. On the other hand, the Pro model is rumoured to be equipped with a Dimensity 8350 and a 6,000mAh battery cell. 
  • The Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro are tipped to support 68W and 90W fast charging. 
  • The upcoming Motorola Edge 60 duo will feature a triple rear camera setup and arrive in multiple RAM and storage configurations. 

The Motorola Edge 50 and Edge 50 Pro were launched in India starting at Rs 27,999 and Rs 31,999.
