“The Motorola One Action with model number XT2013-2 has received certification from Thailand’s NBTC, suggesting the launch may not be too far away”
After appearing on a variety of global certification portals such as the FCC, Russia’s EEC, Brazil’s Anatel, the Motorola One Action has now been spotted at The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand. This takes the highly leaked handset one more step close to launch. The Motorola One Action is expected to be a more feature-packed version of the Motorola One Vision that flaunts the company’s first hole-punch design in a smartphone. We have exclusively reported the renders of the Motorola One Action in the past and the device has also appeared on benchmarks such as Geekbench.
Talking about the NBTC certification, first spotted by the folks at Nashville Chatterclass, the Motorola One Action appears with the model number XT2013-2, which had previously been seen on other portals as well. As for the specifications, the Moto One Action is driven by a Samsung Exynos 9610 SoC, similar to the One Vision. Motorola is one of the few companies that have ditched Qualcomm’s mobile CPUs and opted for Samsung’s chipset most recently. Its upcoming smartphone likely has a 6.3-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels; we can expect it to come with up to 6GB RAM, along with storage capacities of 64GB and 128GB storage options. The handset could have a triple camera setup with a primary 12.6MP sensor both on the front and the rear. We expect the handset to run Android 9.0 Pie and a 3,500mAh battery, as revealed by the FCC.
Motorola also has an unreleased Pro version in the One series that has recently broke cover. As per press renders leaked earlier, it is a quad-camera handset with a waterdrop notch design and it could be the most premium handset in the series. There’s a lot less information regarding the Motorola One Pro but we expect the company to be coming with an official launch confirmation of the series soon looking at all the international certifications.
