The Motorola One and Motorola One Power smartphones have been the subject of a number of reports and leaks lately. However, today, both of these handsets have been officially unveiled by the company at this year’s IFA in Berlin. The brand’s latest phones have arrived as mid-range Android One offerings. Both of them currently boot Android 8.1 Oreo, but will be one of the first devices to receive the Android 9 Pie update in the future. Notably, Google Lens support has been integrated into the camera app of the new Motorola smartphones.

Motorola One official

Talking about the Motorola One first, the phone sports a metal frame and a glass back, which has a dual primary camera setup and a fingerprint sensor sitting below the Moto dimple. The smartphone is equipped with a 5.9-inch display with a notch on top. The handset offers a resolution of 1,520 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor.

The Motorola One gets 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable native storage. At the rear, the phone has a 13-megapixel primary snapper, aided by a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel camera. The connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. A 3,000mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging keeps the handset running. The phone also gets P2i water-repellent nanocoating.

Coming to the Motorola One Power, the smartphone flaunts a massive 5,000mAh battery. Thanks to the TurboPower fast charging support, the phone’s power cell can deliver up to six hours of battery life with just 20 minutes of charging. As for the other specs, the handset gets a bigger 6.2-inch full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio. This one is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, aided by Adreno 509 graphics.

Moving on, the One Power comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB, which both support expandable memory. The camera department includes a dual 16MP + 5MP setup at the rear, and an 8MP front shooter. Design-wise, the phone sports a metal unibody design with a fingerprint sensor embedded inside the Motorola logo at the rear.

Talking about the pricing, the Motorola One has been priced at $349 (~Rs 24,800). The phone comes in black and white hues, and will be available in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific starting next month. The Motorola One Power comes in black, white, and golden hues, but there’s no word regarding its pricing at the moment. The company has announced that the One Power will be available in India at some point in October.
