“Motorola already has a few One-series smartphone down the pipeline and Motorola One Macro could be one of them”
Motorola One Macro could be the third Android One smartphone coming this, apart from the rumoured One Action and One Pro handsets. Renowned tipster Evan Blass has spilled the beans on Motorola’s upcoming phones. In his tweet, Blass mentioned the smartphones that the company has already launched – namely the Motorola One, One Power, and One Vision – in its One series lineup along with the handsets that are in the pipeline, including Motorola One Macro. While both Motorola One Action and One Pro have been in rumours – their renders recently leaked – this is the first time we’re hearing about the Motorola One Macro.
Going by the name, the Motorola One Macro could be an affordable offering. Since it’s said to come with Android One, the handset will most likely boot stock Android OS, with support for timely software updates directly from Google. That’s all we the information we have at the moment. Lenovo-owned Motorola, meanwhile, seems to quickly want to expand its Android One lineup, which it joined last year. As mentioned above, the company has already introduced three such smartphones, namely Motorola One, Motorola One Power, and Motorola One Vision.
Talking about the Motorola One Action and One Pro, the handsets are expected to come with Android One and near bezel-less screen. While the former is said to have a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display and triple rear cameras, the Pro is rumoured to have a 6.3-inch punch-hole screen and quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor at the back. The Motorola One Pro will most likely arrive in Dark Purple, Black, and Dark Brown hues. As for the Motorola One Action, it could be powered by Exynos 9609 processor and come in Blue, Gold, and White colour options.
