“The Motorola One Macro will reportedly be a budget-centric smartphone with stock-Android OS running out of the box”
Motorola One Macro is believed to be the newest addition to the vendor’s One Series lineup. The handset is expected to be a budget-centric Android One offering with vanilla Android OS running out of the box. Now, before Motorola could actually take the wraps off the One Macro, XDA Developers has got hold of its live images. As per that, the Motorola One Macro will be a budget-centric smartphone with a dew-drop display, selfie camera up top, rounded corners, and a large bottom bezel. Sadly, there are no live images of the handset’s back panel yet, but based on the colour of the power and volume buttons, it could come with a deep purple paint job.
XDA Developers further added that the FCC listing of Motorola devices with XT2019-1 or XT2019-2 model names spotted a few days ago may be the Motorola One Macro, not the Motorola Moto G8 Play. That means the Motorola One Macro could feature HD+ (720 x 1,520 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The handset is likely to be powered by either MediaTek Helio P60 or Helio P70 chipset paired with 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB/ 64GB onboard storage. The entire setup would be driven by a beefy 4,000mAh battery, while Android 9 Pie may take care of its software side of things.
Lastly, as per the FCC listing, the smartphone will measure 157.6mm in length and 75.4mm in width and also supports LTE bands. It is said to support NFC, dual SIM, and a fingerprint sensor – embedded in the Moto dimple at the back. Camera features of the Motorola One Macro are not yet known, except that it will have the Night Vision mode for low light photography. The handset may also debut macro photo and video mode, which the vendor has been working on for quite some time.
