Motorola Razr 60 Ultra India launch today: time, expected price, specifications, availability

Motorola will launch its flagship foldable, the Razr 60 Ultra, today in India. The device was unveiled globally last month alongside the standard Razr 60. Like its predecessor, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, this one will also cost a premium. For that price tag, it will bring the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a strong Gorilla Glass Ceramic screen, a Titanium hinge, Moto AI goodies, a 7-inch main display, a 4-inch cover screen and a lot more. Motorola Razr 60 Ultra India launch time, expected price, availability

Time: It will launch in India on May 13th, 2025, at 12 PM (IST).
Availability: The phone will be available via Amazon India and Motorola’s official website.
Expected price: Globally, it sells in a single 16+512GB variant for $1,300 (approx Rs 1,11,000). Meanwhile, the Razr 50 Ultra launched in India at Rs 99,999.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra specifications (expected)

Main display: The inner screen will be a 6.96-inch LTPO pOLED with 2992 x 1224 pixel resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 120 percent DCI-P3 coverage, Pantone validated colours, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Ceramic protection.
Cover display: On the outside, you will get a 4-inch LTPO AMOLED, with 1272 × 1080 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness.
Cameras: On the cover screen, you get a 50MP main camera with a 50MP ultrawide snapper. The camera on the main screen is also a 50MP shooter. The Razr 50 Ultra had a 50MP 2x telephoto camera instead of an ultrawide lens.
Processor: The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and is said to have scored 2.7 million points on AnTuTu. This is a faster chip than the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 inside the predecessor.
Memory: The performance is complemented by 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
Battery: The 4,700mAh cell, a 700mAh increase over its predecessor, keeps the clock ticking backed by 68W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. With the wired charger, it claims to fill the tank full in 40 minutes.
Software: The phone ships with Android 15-based Hello UI. Motorola will offer 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches.
Connectivity: The device supports sub-6GHz 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, and NFC.
Miscellaneous: The repertoire consists of dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and IP48 dust and water resistance.
Colours: You can pick it in Rio Red, Scarab Green, and Wood Brown/Mountain Trail shades.

With the Razr 60 Ultra, Motorola is going big on AI. Buyers can expect the same and more AI features found on recently released phones, like the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion and Edge 60 Pro, to be incorporated into the Razr 60 Ultra. These include Catch me up to get an overview of your missed notifications, Pay Attention, which can transcribe and summarise conversations in real time, and more.

The Moto Razr 60 Ultra will also rival the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, which should launch soon, given the Galaxy Z Flip 6 was unveiled in July last year. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 could also pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, but with higher clock speeds due to the deep collaboration with Qualcomm.
