Geekbench
In the Geekbench app, which gauges the CPU’s prowess, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra scored 50 percent higher in single-core and 85 percent higher in multi-core tests than its predecessor. This can be credited to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU powering the latest model. It has a 44 percent higher CPU clock speed and smaller 3nm transistors.
Real-world context: The Snapdragon 8 Elite powering the Razr 60 Ultra is naturally the more powerful between the two and should handle multitasking, daily tasks, and intense processes like gaming like a true flagship. The Razr 50 Ultra is also a very commendable device, but the latest model is much better.
Winner: Motorola Razr 60 Ultra
AnTuTu
When it comes to the AnTuTu apps, which measure performance in terms of CPU, GPU, Memory, and User Experience (UX), the Razr 60 Ultra once again proves its might, thanks to the Snapdragon 80 Elite. The Razr 60 Ultra scored around 60 percent higher than its predecessor.
Real-world context: The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra will deliver a more holistic, well-rounded performance with solid multitasking and everyday usage performance. The latest launch will also offer much faster app opening and closing speeds as well as a better multitasking experience.
Winner: Motorola Razr 60 Ultra
CPU throttle
We use the Burnout app to gauge the performance fall-off when the device throttles the CPU to prevent overheating and subsequent performance instability. The app runs a battery of resource-intensive tasks on the device for 8 minutes and records the maximum performance sustained during CPU throttle. In our testing, the Razr 60 Ultra managed to maintain around 45 percent of its maximum performance, which is almost 60 percent higher compared to the Razr 50 Ultra.
Real-world context: The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra will offer slightly better, consistent performance in heavy tasks like video recording, editing, and heavy gaming. The Razr 50 Ultra is also a solid performer, but if you need an absolute beast of a foldable smartphone, then the Razr 60 Ultra should be your choice.

Game | Game settings (graphics + frames) | Motorola Razr 60 Ultra | Motorola Razr 50 Ultra |
COD: Mobile | Max + Max/Very High + Max | 52.8 | 55.10 |
Real Racing 3 | Standard | 58.4 | 57.92 |
BGMI | Ultra HDR + Ultra | 39.1 | 38.4 |
Thermal performance

COD: Mobile | 7.4 degree Celsius | 8.8 degree Celsius |
Real Racing 3 | 6.7 degree Celsius | 6 degree Celsius |
BGMI | 9.4 degree Celsius | 7 degree Celsius |
In our gaming test, we played COD: Mobile, Real Racing 3, and BGMI on test smartphones for 30 minutes each on identical graphics settings. During gameplay, we measured the average FPS and temperature increase after each gaming session to gauge gaming performance. There were obviously some differences in the average FPS and temperature increase recorded by both smartphones, but the gap is not significant enough to declare a clear winner.
Real-world context: The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra and 50 Ultra can handle intense games like BGMI without sweat. The Razr 60 Ultra has a hairline advantage, but it won’t be noticeable in the device’s real-life gaming performance.
