Motorola Razr 70 spotted on TENAA with dual 50MP cameras, 6.9-inch OLED display
The Motorola Razr 70 has been listed on China’s TENAA certification site, revealing several hardware details ahead of its expected launch. The appearance suggests Motorola’s next clamshell foldable may not be far from debut, roughly a year after the Motorola Razr 60 series was introduced.
According to the listing, the Razr 70 will pack a 6.9-inch OLED inner display with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels. On the outside, it is tipped to feature a 3.63-inch cover screen with a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels. That is broadly the same cover display size used on the Razr 60, which already allowed users to handle notifications, quick replies, and basic apps without unfolding the phone (review). Camera specifications show a small change compared to the previous generation. The listing shows two 50MP cameras on the back, along with a 32MP front camera. The Razr 60, by contrast, paired its 50MP main camera with a 13MP ultrawide lens, while keeping the same 32MP selfie camera. If the certification details are true, Motorola may be moving to a higher-resolution secondary camera this time.
The phone is said to run on a 2.75GHz octa-core processor, though the chipset name has not been mentioned in the listing. That would make it slightly faster on paper than the Dimensity 7400x used in the Razr 60, which topped out at 2.6GHz. TENAA also shows multiple memory options, including 8GB, 12GB, 16GB, and 18GB of RAM, paired with storage variants ranging from 128GB to 1TB.
As for batter, the Razr 70 is listed with a 4,275mAh rated dual-cell battery, split into 1,090mAh and 3,185mAh units. In practice, the marketed capacity will likely be around 4,500mAh, which is the same typical capacity as the Razr 60. That model supported 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, and similar charging speeds could carry over.
The certification listing also reveals the phone’s size and weight. The Razr 70 measures 171.3 x 73.9 x 7.2 mm and weighs around 188 gms. Those numbers are nearly identical to the Razr 60, suggesting Motorola may keep the same overall design while focusing on internal updates.
For context, the Razr 60 launched in India in May 2025, starting at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. That pricing made it one of the more accessible foldable phones compared to premium clamshell models, including Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip lineup and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Since the Razr 60 series debuted in April last year, the new TENAA listing hints that the Razr 70 could arrive in China later this month or by early April, with other markets likely to follow. For buyers, the Razr 70 could be worth waiting for if Motorola keeps pricing close to the Razr 60’s sub-Rs 50,000 starting price. Foldable flip phones are still mostly concentrated in the premium segment, with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip models usually launching at much higher prices. Motorola’s approach has been to offer a practical cover screen and balanced hardware without pushing the cost too far up. Anyone already using the Razr 60 may not find the jump significant if the design and battery stay similar, but for someone looking to try a flip-style foldable for the first time, the Razr 70 could remain one of the more approachable options once it launches.
