Motorola Razr 70 Ultra surfaces on TENAA with key specs ahead of launch

Highlights

Motorola’s next flip phone is looking more familiar the closer it gets to launch, and the latest certification filing confirms that impression. The Razr 70 Ultra has appeared on China’s TENAA certification database (via), revealing most of its hardware ahead of launch. The standard Razr 70 was cleared recently as well, so the full series looks close to an official announcement in China.

The listing adds detail, but it also shows Motorola sticking closely to what it shipped last year, with changes focused on performance and configuration options.

Same displays, similar silicon

Starting with display, the TENAA listing shows a 6.9-inch foldable OLED panel and a 4-inch cover screen with the same resolutions as the Razr 60 Ultra. That’s not necessarily a drawback, as the current model already offers one of the more usable outer screens in this category. Design follows a similar pattern. The TENAA listing shows a 7.2 mm thickness and a weight of around 199 grams, effectively mirroring the Razr 60 Ultra. Leaked renders had suggested the same, with the only visible updates expected to come through new finishes.
