Motorola has started teasing the successor to its Signature flagship, months after launching the first-generation model. The company has quietly added a teaser for the Motorola Signature 27 to its European website, suggesting that a new sub-flagship is already in the works.

The teaser carries the line “A New Perspective Is Coming” and shows the back of the phone, although there is little to make out beyond a camera module with at least two visible lenses. Motorola is also letting visitors register their interest by email, but hasn’t revealed specifications, pricing or a launch date yet.
There are no reliable leaks to fill in the gaps so far. The teaser does, however, include a Crystals by Swarovski logo, although the logo itself is currently not loading on the website. That points towards another Swarovski edition, following the special treatment given to the original Signature. This carries on Motorola’s obsession with Swarovski, as the company unveiled a special encrusted edition of the Razr 70 too at IFA a few days ago.
Motorola launched the first Signature in January 2026. Considering the teaser is already live, the successor seems to be coming sooner than that. The first Signature was a sub-flagship starting at Rs 59,999 in India, combining a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip with a 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display running at 165Hz. The camera setup includes a 50MP main rear camera and other 50MP sensors, along with a 50MP selfie camera. Motorola also gave the phone a 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. IP68 and IP69 ratings, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a seven-year OS and security update commitment round out the package.
However, Motorola hasn’t started teasing the new Signature in India yet. Buyers considering the current Signature or a phone above Rs 60,000 should pause if there is no urgency. Motorola hasn’t confirmed how soon the Signature 27 will arrive, but buying a Rs 59,999 phone just before its successor is announced could mean missing out on newer hardware for a relatively short wait. Although, the current Signature still makes sense if its 165Hz display, camera setup and charging speeds are the priority.
