Motorola plans to enter the smart TV market this month as its debut its television range, 91mobiles has learnt from insider sources. The Motorola TVs will be sold via Flipkart in the Indian market. While not much is known about the device, we can confirm it will have MEMC tech to ensure smooth refresh rates, along with 30W speakers. Of course, the smart TV will be a global-first for Motorola, so it should be something to look forward to. Motorola has an event scheduled for September 16th, where the brand has already confirmed it will be launching the Moto E6s smartphone.
Flipkart has announced it will be hosting the Big Billion Days sale on September 29th, so we can expect the Motorola TVs to go on sale then. The Motorola smart TV enters the country in the month that is already packed with premium TV launches. Just a day after the Motorola event, Xiaomi is launching a 65-inch Mi TV model at its Smarter Living event, while OnePlus will release the OnePlus TV on September 26th. Xiaomi, of course, dominates the smart TV market of the country thanks to its well-priced TVs.
