MSI unveils its next-gen lineup of gaming and productivity laptops at CES 2025

MSI has introduced its 2025 lineup of gaming laptops at CES, along with its new QD-OLED gaming monitors. These next-gen laptops pack top-of-the-line hardware, ranging from Intel’s latest Core Ultra 200 series processors to AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series, NVIDIA’s new GeForce RTX 50 series GPU with DLSS 4, and more. MSI Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition

MSI unveils the limited Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth, blending Norse mythology-inspired artistry with top-tier performance. Powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 275HX, it supports up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM and features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 or RTX 5080 GPUs. The 18-inch UHD+ MiniLED display offers 3840x2400p resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour accuracy.

Storage options include one PCIe Gen5 x4 and three PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD slots. Additional features include a Cherry Mechanical RGB keyboard, a six-speaker Dynaudio system, Thunderbolt 5, Wi-Fi 7, and a 99.9Whr battery, all housed in a design with hand-drawn dragon motifs and Nordic runes.

MSI Raider

MSI Raider 18 HX series, combining powerful performance with sleek design. It features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 or RTX 5070 Ti GPUs, ensuring smooth graphics performance. Storage includes one PCIe Gen5 and one Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD slot.

The Vector 17 HX steps up with a 17-inch QHD+ display and graphics options including the RTX 5090, 5080, or 5070 Ti GPUs. Both models come with a 24-zone RGB keyboard, Thunderbolt 5 ports, Wi-Fi 7, and a 90Whr battery, offering a balance of power and efficiency for gamers and professionals alike.

MSI Stealth

The MSI Stealth A16 is a sleek, high-performance laptop series featuring AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processors and up to 64GB of LPDDR5x onboard memory. It offers a 16-inch QHD+ OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour accuracy, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification. Graphics configuration for these models includes NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 Ti GPUs.

The laptop supports dual PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSDs for fast storage. Other features include a per-key RGB gaming keyboard by SteelSeries, a premium audio system with six speakers, USB4 Type-C ports, Wi-Fi 7, and a 99.9Whr battery, all in a lightweight 2.1 kg design, making it ideal for gamers and professionals who demand power and portability.

MSI Venture

The MSI Venture series offers versatile laptops with both AMD and Intel processor options. The AMD models feature Ryzen AI 7 350 processors, while the Intel variants include Core Ultra 7 and Ultra 5 processors. The series supports up to 96GB of DDR5 memory and offers various display sizes, including 14-inch 2.8K OLED panels with VESA DisplayHDR True Black certification, as well as 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch FHD IPS panels.

Graphics options include AMD Radeon 860M and Intel Arc graphics. The laptops feature a single backlit keyboard, multiple connectivity options, DTS audio processing, and high-resolution audio. With robust security features like fTPM, IR webcams, and Kensington locks, these laptops come in a solid grey finish, with weights ranging from 1.7 kg to 2.4 kg depending on the model.

MSI Venture Pro

The MSI VenturePro series is designed for high-performance computing, with models offering Intel Core Ultra processors (Ultra 7 and Ultra 5) across different sizes: 15.6-inch, 16-inch, and 17.3-inch displays. The laptops feature DDR5 memory (up to 96GB) and a variety of graphics options, including NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, 4050, and 3050 laptop GPUs. The 16-inch models have a high-quality OLED panel with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification, while the other models come with IPS-level panels with 144Hz refresh rates.

Security features include TPM, a webcam shutter, and a Kensington lock. These laptops also offer robust connectivity options such as Gigabit Ethernet, Intel Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth v5.3, alongside an I/O port setup with USB-C, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and an RJ45 jack. Battery life is supported by a 4-cell 55Wh Li-Polymer battery, and the laptops weigh between 1.9kg and 2.4kg, depending on the model. All models come in a solid grey finish.

In addition to these laptops, MSI also introduced the MSI AI Robot, developed with NVIDIA. This AI assistant allows users to control their laptops using natural language commands, even without an internet connection. It integrates a small language model directly into the system, offering a smarter and more intuitive way to manage your laptop. Combined with features like AI Noise Cancellation Pro and the AI Engine, this AI suite enhances the laptop’s functionality for a better overall experience.
