“The unknown Vivo handset flaunts a 6.38-inch AMOLED display and triple rear cameras”
While Vivo is prepping to launch its Z1 Pro smartphone in India, a mysterious handset has been certified by Chinese certification authority TENAA. The real identity of the phone remains unknown at the moment, but it carries the model number V1913A/T and flaunts a triple camera module at the back, along with an all-screen fascia with a Halo notch up top. The specifications of the Vivo handset has also been revealed, and it appears to be an upcoming mid-range offering from the brand.
As per the TENAA listing, the Vivo V1913A/T smartphone will sport 6.38-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ (1,080 x 2,340p) resolution. Under the hood, the handset is tipped to feature an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. A beefy 4,390mAh battery will fuel the device, while Android 9 Pie, overlaid with FunTouch UI from Vivo, will take care of the software side of things. As for the configuration, the handset could feature 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 128GB user-expandable storage.
In the camera department, the Vivo phone’s triple rear cameras are said to employ a combination of 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors with an LED flash. The secondary sensor is speculated to have wide-angle capabilities, while the third 2-megapixel shooter is likely to be a depth sensor. The front camera may come with a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. Since there is no fingerprint scanner on the rear panel or the sides, we can expect the same to be placed on the front underneath the display. The left spine of the phone has volume and power buttons whereas the right edge seems to have a dedicated button for accessing the AI-based Jovi assistant. Lastly, the phone measures 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13mm and weighs 179 grams.
That’s all the information we can divulge about the handset at the moment. It’s not clear if and when Vivo is planning to launch the phone with V1913A/T model number. However, since the phone has been certified, we may expect its launch soon.
