Ola S1 and Ola S1 Air lineups refreshed
Ola Electric ,in its presentation today, announced the addition of a new 2kWh battery pack option for the Ola S1 premium electric scooter, which is aimed at customers who want a feature-packed EV but without the requirement of a high range figure. This new variant posts a claimed range of 91km on a single charge and a top speed of 90kmph. The motor remains the same and the S1 promises to deliver similar performance as the Ola S1 with a 3kWh battery pack and the more premium Ola S1 Pro with a 4kWh battery pack. However, the top speed on the Ola S1 (2kWh variant) has been limited to 90kmph.

The company claims that these will return a range of 85km, 125km, and 165km respectively. All S1 Air variants will use the 4.5kW motor and will each boast a top speed of 85kmph. Ola has scrapped the 2.5kWh battery pack that was supposed to power the S1 Air and instead will be upgrading customers to a 3kWh battery pack variant free of cost.
The specifications and colour list remain the same for all Ola S1 Air, Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro variants. The Ola S1 electric scooter with a 2kWh battery pack has been priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) and purchased today onwards.
