- Xiaomi may launch new Mi TVs in India soon based on a survey being pushed out
- The survey has a range of question on what your ideal next TV should offer
- Xiaomi shared a similar survey back in 2019 just before launching new Mi TV models
Xiaomi seems to be gearing up to launch new smart TV models in India as it has started sending out a ‘TV Survey’. Xiaomi usually does this ahead of launching new products in the country to better understand the preference of consumers. The survey has a range of questions, including the current brand of smart TV you’re using, its size, and what you would like to see on your next smart TV. While nothing can be speculated about the upcoming TVs, this serves as a good hint the company is actively working on Indian-specific Mi TV models.
To recall, Xiaomi shared a similar survey back in 2019 around the same time and launched new models on September 17th. So there’s a possibility that Xiaomi might unveil TVs around the same time and until then, these are just mere speculations. We should know more details going forward.
Separately, Xiaomi recently unveiled the Mi Band 4C fitness tracker, which is a global version of the Redmi Band that was announced in China. It comes with a rectangle colour display with a claim to last up to 14 days on a single charge. It has a heart-rate sensor, sleep monitor, sedentary reminders, and activity tracker. The fitness tracker is 5 ATM water-resistant and connects via Bluetooth 5.0 LTE and is compatible with Android and iOS devices. The Mi Band 4C is priced at NT$ 495 (around Rs 1,300) and HK$ 159 (approx Rs 1,600).
