Nokia 5.4 specifications and price tipped, launch expected soon

Nokia 5.4, the successor to the Nokia 5.3, could be in the final phase of development and may launch soon. The upcoming handset from Nokia was earlier spotted on Australian retail platforms and now, courtesy of NokiaPowerUser, we know some key specifications of the phone, including the display size, RAM+storage, and details regarding the design. The Nokia 5.4 is said to arrive with a 6.4-inch punch-hole display to accommodate the selfie camera. The Nokia 5.4 could be available in Blue and Purple colours at launch. While it’s not confirmed, the phone may be equipped with quad-cameras, similar to the Nokia 5.3.

Nokia 3.4

While the processor name isn’t mentioned in the report, the phone is said to be equipped with a faster SoC compared to its predecessor. To recall, the Nokia 5.3 came with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. The Nokia 5.4 is said to be offered in two models: 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and 4GB RAM and 128GB storage option. As for the details revealed via the retailer platforms, the phone’s listing on Acquire suggests the Nokia 5.4 will be priced at AUD 370 (around Rs 20,300), while the Aus Shop IT claims the phone might cost around Rs 19,000. Besides the price, both the listings fail to reveal specifications.

To recall the Nokia 5.3 specifications, the smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. It is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU, up to 6GB RAM, and 64GB storage that is further expandable via microSD card. It runs on Android 10 out of the box. The Nokia 5.3 has a quad-camera setup at the back with a 13MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens for close up shots. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and a fingerprint sensor for security. A 4,000mAh battery fuels the phone. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, aptX, and NFC.
