Nokia 6.2, Nokia 7.2 prices in India dropped permanently, new price starts at Rs 12,499

Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 both have received a permanent price cut of up to Rs 3,100 in India. The smartphones are now selling at a price starting at Rs 12,499 in the offline market, 91mobiles has learnt from its retail sources. The Nokia 6.2, which was launched at Rs 15,999, is available at Rs 12,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The handset’s new price is also reflecting on Amazon.in. As for the Nokia 7.2, its base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is up for grabs at Rs 15,499 instead of Rs 18,499, while the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option will set you back to Rs 17,099 – down from 19,599. The phone is selling on the e-commerce platform for as low as Rs 15,854. Both Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 are the latest mid-range offering from the brand.

Nokia 7.2 specifications

For those unaware, the Nokia 7.2 runs stock Android 9 Pie out of the box. It’s upgradable to Android 10 OS via OTA update. The handset features a 6.3-inch PureView Full-HD+ display with waterdrop notch and Snapdragon 660 SoC ticking at its core. The phone rocks a 20-megapixel Zeiss quad-pixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture lens on the front. It sports triple rear cameras that includes a 48-megapixel (f/1.79) primary sensor + 5-megapixel depth-sensing sensor + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) wide-angle lens + LED flash.

Nokia 7.2 houses a 3,500mAh battery with the 10W standard charging support. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Google Assistant button, 4G LTE, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Type-C, NFC, and audio jack. The Nokia 7.2 comes in Charcoal and Cyan Green hues.

The Nokia 6.2, meanwhile, also ships with a 6.3-inch PureView Full-HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The phone is Android 10-ready but boots Android 9 Pie out of the box. At its core lies Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.8GHz and paired with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage onboard. In optics, the handset sports a triple camera setup with 16-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel secondary depth unit, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with LED flash. The handset’s selfie camera sports an 8-megapixel shooter on the front. 

For security, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature. Nokia 6.2 also houses a 3,500mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, and Type-C 2.0. The Nokia 6.2 is available in Ceramic Black and Ice colour options.
