“Nokia 7.2 is expected to come with triple rear cameras, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and waterdrop notch”
Nokia 5.2, Nokia 6.2, and Nokia 7.2 smartphones are expected to launch on September 5th, ahead of the IFA 2019 event in Berlin. We’ve heard rumours and reports about these phones, revealing few key specifications. Now, weeks ahead of the launch, case renders of the Nokia 7.2 surfaced online, courtesy of the NokiaPowerUser. While it isn’t confirmed if these are the Nokia 7.2 official case renders, these do show triple rear cameras arranged in a circular module, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and ultra-slim bezels on the front.
The Nokia 7.2 renders show the smartphone will have a waterdrop notch above the display to accommodate the selfie snapper. The volume rockers and power button are present on the right spine. While the USB Type-C port, speaker grill, and 3.5mm audio jack are placed on the bottom, the Nokia logo that usually sits beneath the display is missing, though this probably won’t be the case on the final product. Earlier rumours suggest the handset would be powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC alongside 6GB RAM, rock a 48MP primary rear camera, accompanied with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a depth sensor. Nokia 7.2 is likely to run on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and should be a part of the Android One program. A 3,500mAh battery is said to fuel the smartphone.
On the other hand, the Nokia 6.2 is expected to ship with a 6-inch full-HD+ display and is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. However, there could be other variants as well. While the Nokia 5.2 should come with relatively underpowered Snapdragon 632 processor. Since the launch is just a few days away, we should know more details pretty soon.
