“Nokia 7.2 is expected to come with 48MP primary rear camera, run Android 9.0, and be powered by the Snapdragon 710/712 SoC“
Nokia 7.2 smartphone is expected to go official at the September 5th event in Berlin alongside the Nokia 5.2, Nokia 6.2, and a couple of feature phones. Recently, the live images of the handset surfaced online, revealing the design in all its glory. This confirmed the handset would have a triple camera setup in a circular module. Now, days ahead of the launch, the Nokia 7.2 pricing and colour options have been revealed, courtesy of a couple of retailer listings in Chile. According to one of the retailer listing, the Nokia headset is said to be priced at $249, while the other retailer lists the Nokia 7.2 at $274. The said pricing presumably belongs to two different variants.
The Nokia 7.2 is also said to come in Ice Blue, Forest Green, and Charcoal Black colour options. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a waterdrop notch at the front to accommodate the selfie snapper, which could be a 32MP module. The live images also confirm the Nokia 7.2 would come with a dedicated Google Assistant button for easy access. While it isn’t confirmed, the phone could feature a 48MP primary sensor and a 120-degree wide-angle lens. It could run Android 9.0 Pie and be a part of the Android One program.
Earlier rumours suggest the Nokia 7.2 is expected to feature a 6.2-inch full-HD+ display and ship with either Snapdragon 712 or 710 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. A 3,500mAh battery with support for fast charging could fuel the phone. Since the pricing and other details are based on various leaks and rumours, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.
