“Nokia 8.2 specifications leaked so far include a 32MP pop-up selfie camera, a 64MP primary rear camera, and Snapdragon 735 SoC with 5G support”
Nokia 8.2 specifications came to light last month, with the report claiming that the handset will launch in both 5G and 4G LTE variants. However, NokiaPowerUser has now contradicted it and, citing sources, claims that the handset will only have a 5G model. This means there will be no 4G-only variant but that the 5G model will work for both 4G and 5G networks. Moreover, the new report says the Nokia 8.2 launch will be at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 in Barcelona in February, which is in line with previous reports. Nokia brand licensee HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas has previously said that its 5G value flagship model will be priced around $500 (about Rs 35,000).
Nokia 8.2 specifications
Earlier reports suggest that the Nokia 8.2 would feature a 32MP pop-up selfie camera and a 64MP primary rear camera. It is also said to be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 SoC with 5G support. The chipset is reportedly based on the 7nm process and said to bring next-gen AI Engine as well as gaming-related features. As mentioned above, the Nokia 8.2 price is pegged at $500 (around Rs 35,000). Design-wise, the Nokia 8.2 is said to pack a glass-unibody design with metal frame.
The Nokia 8.2 is expected to run Android 10 out of the box and should be a part of the Android One program. Other connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0,
GPS/AGPS+GLONASS+BDS, and NFC. Nokia 8.2 is also said to be available in multiple RAM/ storage variants. A big battery with fast-charging support is expected to fuel the phone considering 5G will be a battery guzzler. Since everything is based on rumours and leaks, there’s no way to confirm how accurate these would turn out, but we should learn more information soon.
