- The Nokia 9.3 PureView is tipped to feature 64MP primary camera with OIS
- HMD Global to reportedly ditch partnership with Light camera technology
- Nokia 9.3 PureView is expected to launch in Q3 2020 alongside Nokia 7.3
Nokia 9.3 PureView is reportedly in development and is expected to launch in Q3 2020 alongside Nokia 7.3 premium mid-range phone. The Nokia 9.3 launch announcement could be delayed owing to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic across the globe. Now, a new report from NokiaPowerUser, citing a tip by one of its sources, claims the Nokia 9.3 will retain the penta-camera setup and ditch the Light camera technology found on the original Nokia 9 PureView smartphone. This corroborates with a report from January that claimed HMD Global will let-go of the Light partnership owing to the post-launch support for Nokia 9 last year. More interestingly, the report says Nokia 9.3 will feature a 108MP camera, but it will be a wide-angle lens and not the primary sensor.
Nokia 9.3 PureView is said to have a 64MP primary sensor and 108MP wide-angle lens
HMD Global is said to be working with a new partner to fine-tune the Nokia 9.3 PureView camera system. However, details regarding the same aren’t available yet. As for the camera configuration, Nokia 9.3 is said to pack a 64MP primary camera sensor with OIS and a 108MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. Unfortunately, details regarding other sensors aren’t immediately available, but they could be a telephoto lens, a macro sensor, and a depth sensor for portrait shots. While it’s not confirmed, the Nokia 9.3 could have a 48MP selfie camera on the front. Since we’re months away from the launch, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.

It could boot Android 10 OS and should be a part of the Android One program. The Nokia 9.3 PureView is said to pack a 4,500mAh battery and will support for Qi wireless charging. Connectivity options could include 5G, 4G LTE Cat 16 4×4 MIMO, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/AGPS+GLONASS+BDS, NFC, ANT+.
