The Nokia 9 PureView has been unveiled at the MWC 2019, and as the leaks had already told us, this is a phone that packs not two, not three, but a total of five rear cameras. The point is to deliver lenses with different focal lengths to render different photography scenarios. But that aside, the Nokia 9 PureView is a pretty regular offering. It can easily be compared with the likes of the Xiaomi Mi 9 and the OnePlus 6T. And today, we’ll be doing just that, so let’s get right into it.

The software onboard the Nokia 9 is pretty much stock Android 9.0 Pie. There are some necessary changes in the camera department and some other areas though. The Mi 9 of course runs MIUI 10, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. The highlight of this software is its new system-wide dark mode. The OnePlus 6T comes with its Android 9.0 Pie-based OxygenOS 9 software, which is highlighted by its minute customisation options that make a huge difference to the user experience.
The Nokia 9 PureView comes with a rear camera setup that includes five 12MP sensors, each with f/1.8 aperture. This phone gets a 12MP front camera too. The Mi 9’s triple camera setup features a 48MP main snapper, a 16MP secondary snapper with an ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP camera with a telephoto lens for optical zooming and portrait shots. Its front camera has a 20MP sensor. The OnePlus 6T dual camera array includes a 16MP main camera and a 20MP secondary camera meant for rendering portrait effects. Its front camera is a 16MP sensor.
