Nokia G50 specification
The Finnish company now owned by HMD Global has officially not disclosed the specifications or other details regarding prices and launch yet. However, being part of the G series, some of the hardware and pricing details can be gauged. The phone’s 5G capability will be one of its core strengths and is possible that it will hold the honour of being the cheapest Nokia 5G phone. The Nokia G50 is also rumoured to feature a Snapdragon SoC from Qualcomm. Given the price range and the 5G capability chances are it is a Snapdragon 480 chipset. The budget-oriented processor is fabricated using the 8nm process and the octa-core layout clocks up to 2GHz.
The Nokia G50 will reportedly feature 4GB of RAM and an option for 64GB or 128GB storage options depending upon the region. The teaser image also gives us information about the design. The design of the Nokia G50 will be in line with the family design language. It will feature a teardrop design notch upfront. At the back, the circular camera module will sit on top of a matt back.
The base variant is likely to be priced at GBP 207 (approx Rs. 11,000) in the UK. The device is likely to go on sale soon, given that the teasers are ready. HMD Global is also the official sponsor for the 25th James Bond instalment, No Time To Die, starring Daniel Craig. So a launch may be on the cards very soon as the movie will premier on September 28th and be playing in theatres from September 30th, 2021.
