Nokia G60 5G’s first sale in India today via the Nokia website, online portals and offline outlets. The handset launched in the country last week as a premium mid-range offering with 5G support, notably the brand’s first with the fifth-generation mobile network. It has a waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter, a triple camera layout on the back, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The company says that the Nokia G60 5G is the most eco-friendly G-series smartphone it ever made. The phone uses a 100 percent recycled polycarbonate back and a 60 percent recycled polycarbonate frame.

The Nokia G60 5G is priced at Rs 29,999 for the single 6GB/128GB model. The handset will be on sale through the Nokia website and leading retail stores. The brand is offering free Nokia Wired Buds worth Rs 3,599. The phone comes in Black and Ice colour options.

Nokia G60 flaunts a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 500nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer for protection. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with Adreno 619L CPU for graphics. The phone measures 165.99 x 75.93 X 8.61mm and weighs 190 grams.

There is 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage that is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. It runs on Android 12 OS out of the box and is claimed to deliver 3 years of Android updates.

Nokia G60 packs a 4,500mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
