“The Nokia TA-1182 is expected to be a pocket-friendly handset with a Snapdragon SoC”
Just after the launch of the Nokia 4.2 in India, HMD Global seems to be working on a couple of new budget handsets. Ahead of the official announcement, two new Nokia-branded phones with the model number Nokia TA-1153 and TA-1182 have been appearing on multiple certification websites. Most recently, the Nokia TA-1182 was spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance as well as Bluetooth SIG certification websites. Now the handset has just been certified by the Federal Communications Commission.
The upcoming Nokia TA-1182 has been certified by FCC, which suggests its imminent launch, at least in the US. Notably, the listing on FCC’s website reveals that this phone will be fuelled by a beefy 4,000mAh battery. Sadly, other details regarding the specs of the handset have not been revealed by the certification on the Federal Communications Commission’s website. However, we expect this phone to be unveiled very soon as it has received certification from three regulatory authorities including the Wi-Fi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG, and FCC.
