- Nokia 32-inch and 50-inch TVs bear model numbers 2TAHDN and 50TAUHDN, respectively
- The Nokia TVs are manufactured by Dixon Technologies in Andhra Pradesh
- Nokia has already launched 55-inch, 43-inch and 65-inch smart TVs in India
Nokia and Flipkart have already launched three smart TV models in India. These come in 55-inch, 43-inch and 65-inch models and are exclusively sold on the e-commerce website. Not, two new Nokia TV models have received BIS certification in India. The Nokia 50-inch 4K UHD and 32-inch FHD TVs have model numbers 32TAHDN and 50TAUHDN, respectively. The TVs are manufactured by Dixon Technologies in Andhra Pradesh. The two new models could be smart TVs running Android 9.0 platform, much like the previous models. The upcoming Nokia TVs should support popular OTT apps out of the box and may be equipped with JBL speakers and Nokia’s PureSound technology.
Considering the Nokia 43-inch 4K TV costs Rs 31,999, we can expect the 50-inch model to be priced under Rs 40,000 and a 32-inch model should cost around Rs 25,000 mark, making it the most affordable Nokia-branded smart TV yet. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the upcoming Nokia smart TVs, but considering they have received BIS certification, their launch in India may be around the corner.
The Nokia 55-inch, 43-inch, and 65-inch smart TVs all come with 4K displays, wide viewing angles, and features like Dolby Vision and MEMC technology. The Nokia TVs pack 16GB internal storage and boot Android 9 TV OS with Google Assistant support. They have Chromecast built-in and connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3x HDMI, 1x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0, and Ethernet. The TVs are equipped with bottom-firing speakers backed by JBL with support for DTS TruSurround and Dolby Audio.
