Nokia X6 alleged official renders leaked again, notch display design in tow

“The Nokia X6 is all set to launch on May 16th in China”

HMD Global, the company that holds the rights to manufacture and sell phones under Nokia branding, is all set to launch the Nokia X6 smartphone at an event in China on May 16th. Ahead of the official unveiling, a number of purported live images, as well as official renders of the handset, have been leaked recently. Now some more press renders of the alleged Nokia X6 have emerged on the Internet, thanks to Chinese retailer named Suning.

Nokia X6 new render

The retailer is hosting a photo contest for the Nokia X6, with 10 units of the phone as a reward. The e-commerce portal says that the top three entries in the contest will receive some money as a bonus to their new Nokia X. The poster suggests that the phone will come with dual primary cameras at the rear with the fingerprint sensor sitting right below it.

As you can see from the renders, the Nokia X6 could flaunt a notch above the screen, which will be a home to a couple of sensors. At the bottom of the screen, the phone appears to sport a slim bezel. As per the earlier reports, the Nokia X6 will feature a 5.8-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is said to boot Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

The Nokia X6 is rumoured to come in two variants with different processors. One of these models could be powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC and 4GB of RAM, while the other variant is expected to offer a MediaTek Helio P60 processor and 4GB of RAM. The storage capacity on board is expected to go up to 128GB for the highest variant. The camera department is said to include two 12MP rear snappers and a 5MP front shooter.

If the reports are to be believed, the Nokia X6 could be priced around Rs 15,000 or Rs 17,000. The phone is said to be available in black and white colour variants. We should have official details on May 16th, so stay tuned.
