
The Nothing Phone (3) is confirmed to launch on July 1st as the brand’s true flagship offering. Alongside it, the company is all set to introduce its debut over-the-ear headphones, called the Nothing Headphone (1). Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei confirmed the launch of the new category at the SXSW stage in London. This comes soon after the Nothing Headphone (1) price and colour options were leaked online.
Nothing Headphone (1) launch date confirmed
- In his closing remarks at the SXSW London, Pei confirmed that the Nothing Headphone (1) will be unveiled alongside its flagship smartphone on July 1st.
- While this is a new product category, the brand already offers other audio products in the form of TWS earbuds and neckband earphones.
- Much like other Nothing products, the Headphone (1) will be sold via Flipkart in the country.
- While no other details about the Headphone (1) are revealed by the brand or the CEO at the moment, a recent leak sheds light on the beans on the price and colour options.
- The Headphone (1) could reportedly be priced at $299 (approx Rs 25,700) in the US and available in black and white colour options.
- The design of the Headphone (1) is something we can look forward to considering it has been the brand’s one of the main USP’s.
Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone (3) is touted to be the brand’s first true flagship, hinting that it could be powered by a top-tier chipset like the Snapdragon 8-series SoC. There are also reports that the Phone (3) will ditch the Glyph interface in favour of a new dot-matrix design.
In global markets, the flagship is said to cost GBP 800 (~Rs 93,300). In the US market, the Phone (3) is tipped to cost $799 (around Rs 68,600) in the US for the 12GB/256GB variant and $899 (approx Rs 77,200) for the 16GB/ 512GB version. For comparison, the Nothing Phone (2) debuted at Rs 44,999 in India.
