The launch event will be held on July 12th at 8:30 PM local time. The official tweet reads, Unlearn. Undo. Starting with the phone (1) and it has already been confirmed the phone will arrive with a transparent design of sorts. A recent leak has given away the specifications of the phone, hinting us what to expect. It is said to arrive with wireless charging, a Snapdragon chipset and near-stock Nothing OS custom UI.

Separately, as we wait for the announcement, tipster Yogesh Brar claims that Nothing Phone (1) would be produced locally, probably in a move to reduce the price of the phone at launch.

A 4,500mAh/5000mAh battery with wired and wireless charging is said to fuel the phone. It is likely to boot Android 12 OS with the company’s custom skin out of the box. The camera details of the Nothing Phone (1) are kept under wraps, at the moment. Connectivity features could include 5G, 4G LTE, WI-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
