Hours after Nothing Phone (1) gets a camera-focused update, the company announces a price hike on the handset in India. Nothing India’s Vice President and General Manager, Manu Sharma, took it to Twitter to announce the new price of Nothing Phone (1) (review). According to the company, this price buff comes from “fluctuating currency exchange rates and rising component costs”. A few days ago, Phone (1) went on open sale via Flipkart at the old price. The company has revealed the new price of Nothing Phone (1). The base 8GB/128GB unit costs Rs 33,999, the 8GB/256GB model retails at Rs 36,999, and the top-in-the-line 12GB/256GB variant will set you back Rs 39,999. You can get the Nothing Phone (1) via Flipkart, available in two colour options: Black and White.
The Nothing Phone (1) features a unique Glyph interface at the back, which houses thousands of LEDs. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor runs the show, and an Adreno 642L GPU handles graphic needs. You can get the Nothing Phone (1) with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
It flaunts a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ OLED panel, which supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2400×1080 pixel resolution, and up to 1200 nits peak brightness. However, users have reported the software limits the brightness to 700 nits.

A 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging and 15W Qi wireless charging keeps the lights on. Nothing Phone (1) boots Android 12-based Nothing OS out of the box. The company has promised three years of Android updates and four years of security patches every two months.
