Nothing Phone (3) launch timeline officially confirmed: here’s what to expect

Nothing so far this year launched two phones- the Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro, and is gearing up to introduce the CMF Phone 2 Pro on April 28th. That’s not all as the brand still has the flagship, the Nothing Phone (3), to unveil this year. Now, in the latest AMA (ask me anything) session on X, Nothing CEO Carl Pei confirmed the launch timeline of the phone.

Responding to a user query about when the Nothing Phone (3) will launch, Carl Pei mentioned it will launch in Q3 2025.
This means the Nothing Phone (3) will be launched between July and September.

To recall, the Nothing Phone (2) debuted on July 11th back in 2023. It is possible that the Nothing Phone (3) could be unveiled during the same time period.
This is a major development coming from Nothing about its next flagship, but we should come across more details soon.

Besides the Phone (3) launch timeline, Carl Pei also hinted that Essential Space, which was unveiled with the Nothing Phone (3a) series, will soon get deeper integration with calendar and other system apps.

When asked about how long it takes to develop a phone from an idea to final production, Carl Pei replied that it will take anywhere between 9 months to 18 months, depending on how new/different the product is.

Nothing Phone (3): what do we know so far?

While the hardware details are not revealed, the leaked email from Carl Pei noted that the Phone (3) will introduce “breakthrough innovations in the user interface” and is said to be the brand’s entry point towards the AI-powered platform.

Back in June 2024, Carl Pei teased the AI platform and revealed the designs and ideas that are in the works. It is confirmed that AI will be integrated right into the OS. For context, the Nothing Phone (3a) series introduced the Essential Space, which is an AI-powered hub.

We can speculate the Nothing Phone (3) could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC or the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. To recall, the Nothing Phone (2) was launched in India at Rs 44,999.
