
Nothing has released new updates for a bunch of phones, including the Nothing Phone (3a), Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, Nothing Phone (1), and CMF Phone 1. The latest update adds Android 15’s Privacy Space and 4K telephoto video to the Nothing Phone (3a) series. Meanwhile, the biggest addition to the Nothing Phone (1) is Power Off Verify, and on the CMF Phone (1), it is the Nothing Gallery. Nothing Phone (3a) series update: what’s new
Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro get Nothing OS V3.1-250417-1222 update:
- With this update, the Nothing Phone 3a series gets an Android 15 feature that was missing previously. It is called Privacy Space, and it is a secure and isolated area on the device for sensitive apps and data. It is similar to Samsung’s Secure Folder feature, and you can access the Private Space by swiping right on the app drawer.
- Additionally, you can now set a separate password for Private Space and App Locker.
- The telephoto camera on these two phones will now support 4K video recording. The low-light telephoto photos will have improved brightness and reduced flicker. Also, Nothing claims the selfies will be clearer, night photos will be better 50MP snaps get filters.
- The devices get a new Hotspot Manager to manage devices connected to your device hotspot.
- It gets the April 2025 security patch.
Although not part of this update, Nothing mentions the Essential Space has got a new update on Google Play Store, which includes an option to edit reminders and offers improved speed and stability.
Nothing Phone (1) update: what’s new
Nothing Phone (1) gets a new update version 3.0-250409-2129.
The update brings Power off verify for extra shutdown security, refreshed title-bar appearance in pop-up windows, a new touch feedback vibration setting within Sound and Vibration, and an April 2025 security patch.
CMF Phone 1 update: what’s new
The phone gets the V3.0-250421-2015 update.
It adds Nothing Gallery, long-press and swipe up in Recent Apps to Clear All, use Touch Feedback Toggle to disable lock screen unlock vibration, a refined Pop-up window design, April security patch, and an option to share lockscreen data between Nothing phones.
