The Flipkart teaser page highlights a few features of the Red Magic 3, including the centrifugal fan inside the chassis, a first of its kind on any smartphone. This is in addition to the other cooling systems which nubia employs to decrease thermal throttling on the handset. Another key aspect is the processor that powers the handset — Snapdragon 855 SoC. The gaming device topped AnTuTu’s list of fastest phones in May 2019 and is definitely a powerful device. The other teased features include the shoulder buttons for greater game control and the Pogo pins for extra accessories. This means that nubia will likely also launch all the accessories it made official in China.

The Red Magic 3 has a 6.65-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s a notch-less design fuelled by a massive 5,000mAh battery. There are options of up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The gaming smartphone has a single 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor at the back and a 16-megapixel shooter (f/2.0) up front. The handset is priced very aggressively in China as its base model costs RMB 2,899 (~Rs 30,000).
