“The nubia Z20 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Snapdragon 855 Plus processor”
nubia Z20 specifications of the display and camera have been revealed by the brand’s president, Ni Fei, at the Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC). The nubia executive has announced that the phone will come with a flexible display panel. However, this doesn’t mean that the nubia Z20 will be flexible itself. Instead, it will have a screen panel that will be curved to the extreme on the sides to offer a virtually bezel-less display. Fei has also revealed that the nubia Z20 will come with support for 8K video recording. The phone will be unveiled in the brand’s home market of China at an event on August 8th.
The nubia Z20 will be the company’s second smartphone after Red Magic 3 to sport 8K video recording. Notably, unlike the Red Magic 3 that records 8K videos at 15fps, the nubia Z20 will record at a higher frame rate. Fei also mentioned that the phone will have a feature for professional video recording. According to the earlier reports, the nubia Z20 could come with 20x hybrid zooming capabilities.
As per the rumour mill, the nubia Z20 will come with either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or the Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The company is also expected to introduce 5G connectivity supported variant of the smartphone apart from the standard 4G model.
The nubia Z20 will arrive as the successor to the last year’s nubia Z18. The smartphone has the brand’s Full-Screen Design 3.0 with a waterdrop notch above. The phone features a 6-inch full-HD+ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, aided by up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The handset sports a dual-camera module at the rear comprising of a 16MP main sensor and a 24MP secondary snapper. For selfies, there’s an 8MP shooter on the front. A 3,450mAh battery with Neocharge 2.5 technology with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor complete the list of the specifications. The handset is available in China at the starting price of around Rs 25,000.
