Bangalore-based startup Oben Electric has launched its first EV Oben Rorr in India. The electric bike has a claimed range of up to 200Km on a single charge and is priced just under Rs 1 lakh after state subsidies. The Oben Rorr will compete against the likes of Revolt RV 400, which is also available at the same price segment. The electric two-wheeler has as many as three riding modes, along with smart connectivity features such as Bluetooth and a fixed battery pack. The bike can be fully charged in around two hours via a 15A power socket that will be at the owner’s residence at no extra cost.
