Okinawa Autotech has announced discounts of up to Rs 12,500 as part of their Valentine’s Day celebrations. The offer is valid on three of their high-speed electric scooters and two low-speed electric scooters. The company has announced its offers of three of its high-speed electric scooters namely, the iPraise+, the PraisePro and the Ridge+. Offers are also available on the R30 and the Lite low-speed electric scooters from the company.
Okinawa electric scooter offers
Reports suggest that the company’s current flagship model, the iPraise+ electric scooter can be had for a discount of Rs 12,500 while the PraisePro electric scooter can be had for Rs 10,500. A discount of Rs 5,000 is being offered on the Ridge+ high-speed electric scooter. The Okinawa iPraise+, Praise Pro and Ridge+ high-speed electric scooters command a base price tag of Rs 1,45,965, Rs 99,645 and Rs 69,783 (ex-showroom). Bookings can be made for a token amount of Rs 2,000.
The iPraise+ and Praise Pro high-speed models have a strong demand and have waiting periods of about eight weeks according to the company website. Okinawa currently boasts 350 dealers in key metro cities and 542 touchpoints across the country. The company aims to spread its presence in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as well as rural areas across India next.
Okinawa holds the second position in the electric two-wheeler segment in India right after Ola Electric after having sold 1,01,366 units in the calendar year 2022. Okinawa’s electric scooters compete with the likes of the Ola S1 and S1 Pro, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube and Ather 450X.
