The first electric scooter from the SoftBank Group Corp.- and Tiger Global Management-backed electric vehicle unicorn is being called Ola S1. Ola has initiated the booking process through Ola Electric website, where you get some details about the scooter, and what is expected from the electric two-wheeler. It received more than 1,00,000 pre-bookings for its scooter in the first 24 hours of opening bookings to the public. Follow these steps to book your Ola Scooter online in India.

- Sign in with your mobile no. and four-digit OTP
- Fill in details like name and email ID to proceed
- Pay Rs 499 using a debit card, UPI, net banking, or Ola Money to pre-book your Ola electric scooter
The payment confirmation receipt will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number, along with confirmation that your Ola Scooter has been booked. After this, the company will inform you when you can choose colour, customise the scooter as per your preference and pay the balance amount. And finally, the Ola electric scooter gets delivered to your doorstep once it is ready to be shipped.

Ola Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd has set the price of its base electric scooter, called Ola S1, at Rs 99,999, excluding subsidies by states and governments. The Ola S1 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a sticker price of Rs 1,29,999. The scooters come in a variety of colour options, including white, grey, mint, pink, yellow, dark blue, black, beige, dark grey, and red.

Buyers will be able to purchase Ola S1 and S1 Pro in India starting September 8th onwards. The deliveries will begin in October in 1,000 cities and towns across the country, per the company. Ola has planned to sell its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters from both online and offline stores, which is in the process of setting up. The company aims to have one experience centre in every city over the next three months. Additionally, it’s gearing up for a production capacity of 1 million e-vehicles.

Ola S1 electric scooter packs a 2.98-kilowatt hour battery pack that is said to offer 121km on a complete charge. The scooter will have a top speed of 90km per hour. As for the Ola S1 Pro, it will have a maximum speed of 115km per hour. The scooter will also pack a larger 3.97 KwH battery pack, which will give it a range of 181km. Additionally, both e-scooters are said to feature twin LED headlamps and large under-seat boot space. Simultaneously, Ola claims that space on the scooter will be class-leading, along with a range and price that will appeal to buyers.
