Ola Electric has announced an upcoming price hike for the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter from the next booking window. This comes after Ola Electric opened up bookings for the Ola S1 Pro premium electric scooter on the occasion of Holi on March 17th and 18th via the Ola App. Buyers were also allowed to purchase a limited run ‘Gerua’ colour which was introduced specifically to honour the Hindu festival of colours. Ola Electric plans to deliver the new Ola S1 Pro bookings to customers from April 2022 onwards. The Ola S1 Pro comes with a true range of 135km, a 115kmph top speed, a 0-40kmph time of 3 seconds, and more.

Ola S1 Pro price in India to be hiked from the next booking window

The Ola S1 Pro currently retails for a price of Rs 1,29,999 across multiple Indian cities and is offered in 10 colour variants. So far the scooter is available via an online booking system done via the Ola App on specific booking windows owing to its high demand. Ola Electric has now announced that the electric scooter’s price will be hiked from the next booking window.

Ola Electric’s led by Bhavish Aggarwal tweeted that March 18th was the last day to buy Ola S1 Pro at its introductory price of Rs 1,29,999. Prices on the electric scooter will be hiked from the next booking window. This comes after Ather Energy recently increased the prices on its portfolio of products. Experts suggest this price hike on the Ola S1 Pro should be around 3-5 percent. 

Ola S1 Pro to receive MoveOS 2.0 update

Ola Electric is also ready to push the MoveOS 2.0 update to Ola S1 Pro electric scooters by the end of April 2022. This update will bring in a layer of refinement in the overall experience as well as introduce some missing features that were promised at the time of launch such as – turn-by-turn navigation, location sharing with the scooter, and locating a charging station nearby. The update log should also carry a companion app, new Bluetooth-based functions, cruise control, and general bug fixes and performance improvements.
