OnePlus founder Pete Lau has confirmed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will launch in January 2022 in China. Now, a Chinese retailer listing shows that the OnePlus 10 Pro pre-order date is January 4th. It’s possible the company could reveal the launch date on January 4th, which means you can expect the launch event to take place in the first week of January. The listing also shows the bottom portion of the rear-end, with the OnePlus logo and Grey colour option. Unfortunately, no other details of the phone have been revealed at the moment but thanks to other leaks, we know what to expect from the flagship.
OnePlus 10 Pro specifications (expected)
Talking about the OnePlus 10 Pro specifications, it sports a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass layer and a punch-hole cutout. The phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage that may not be expandable. It is likely to boot Android 12 based OxygenOS custom skin on top.
Moving to optics, the handset has triple cameras on the back, with a 48MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3X zoom. It is said to rock a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats. A 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support will fuel the phone. But there are rumours the phone will have 125W fast charging support.
The phone will be equipped with an IP68 rating for water resistance, 5G network connectivity, an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, and an alert slider.
