OnePlus has scheduled the ‘More Power To You’ launch event in India on April 28th. While the company earlier hadn’t revealed what was coming, it has now officially confirmed that both the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will be launched at the event, in line with speculations. OnePlus 10R will be the brand’s next R-series flagship and comes after it debuted the OnePlus 10 Pro.

OnePlus 10R will come as a successor to the OnePlus 9R from last year and the company claims it will offer a fast and smooth experience at a more accessible price point. This announcement comes just a day after the OnePlus 10R design was revealed via an Amazon ad on Instagram. The handset will be the first in the country to introduce 150W SuperVOOC charging, beating Realme GT Neo 3. As per OnePlus, the technology is capable of charging the OnePlus 10R’s battery from 1 to 100 percent in 17 minutes.

On the other hand, the Nord CE 2 Lite is confirmed to feature a massive 5,000mAh battery aided by a 33W fast charging support. It is claimed to charge the battery from 0 to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.

The OnePlus 10R is said to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will boot Android 12 based OxygenOS custom skin out of the box.

OnePlus 10R is said to pack a 4,500mAh battery with 150W fast charging support. It is said to be equipped with stereo speakers, Dolby Audio support and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity features could include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port.

As for the cameras, the OnePlus 10R will feature a triple rear camera system, with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide Sony IMX355 sensor, and a 2MP Macro. There is a 16MP S5K3P9SP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.

On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is said to sport a 6.58-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout. The handset is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset coupled with 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB storage. It is likely to boot Android 11-based OxygenOS custom skin out of the box. But there are chances it might come with Android 12 skin.

The OnePlus Nor CE 2 Lite may have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and 5G network support. A 5,000mAh battery is expected under the hood that supports 33W fast charging.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will have triple cameras on the back, with a 64MP primary camera, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP mono lens. The phone is said to have a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
