The OnePlus 10R is the upcoming flagship smartphone from OnePlus, which will join the OnePlus 10 Pro and the OnePlus 10. The Chinese brand has already launched the OnePlus 10 Pro in China, and is expected to unveil the other two models by the end of Q2 2022. According to a new report from AndroidCentral, the OnePlus 10R will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. The report also reveals certain specifications of the smartphone, and details about pricing.

OnePlus 10R price and launch date
As per the source, the OnePlus 10R price should be less than the OnePlus 9R. This is thanks to the cheaper MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. The phone could be priced around Rs 37,000 in India for the base variant, which will help it compete better with Xiaomi and other brands. It will reportedly be unveiled by the end of Q2 2022, and will mostly be sold only in China and India.
OnePlus 10R specifications
Back in July last year, OnePlus launched its first smartphone with a MediaTek processor. The OnePlus Nord 2 5G was equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 and is an excellent smartphone at the price. That was the first time OnePlus switched from Snapdragon to MediaTek, and it looks like that will happen more often. The OnePlus 10R will reportedly use the newer MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 features a similar core arrangement as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and also uses the Cortex X2 cores with the A710 and A510 cores. The MediaTek SoC comes with the Mali-G710 with 10 cores. Apart from the SoC, a few other specifications have also been revealed. The OnePlus 10R will get a 120Hz AMOLED display and a minimum of 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. More details should be available in the coming weeks.
