OnePlus has rolled out the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta update based on the Android 13 mobile operating system for the OnePlus 10T smartphone. This comes after the OnePlus 9RT received the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta a couple of weeks ago. The new update brings some significant changes to the UI along with other optimisations and improvements. OnePlus 10T receives OxygenOS 13 Open Beta

Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus, has now rolled out the OxygenOS 13 Beta for the OnePlus 10T smartphone. The new beta brings along significant UI changes such as the new Aquamorphic Design and a new Always-On display. This comes alongside other software improvements, optimisations, and some new features. You can read the complete changelog below.

To install the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta, the OnePlus 10T must be running on OxygenOS 12’s A.08 or A.10 build. The device should have at least 30 percent of charge and about 5.5GB of free storage.  

The OxygenOS 13 Beta is still a “work-in-progress” and user caution is advised while installing the new software. It is also wise to choose a secondary device to try out such kind of new software. 

OnePlus has already identified and acknowledged the following problems on the OxygenOS 13 on the OnePlus 10T:

  • The wallpaper is blurry on the lock screen in specific scenarios.
  • The charging prompt on the lock screen is not displayed normally.
  • The expansion function in the Movie Mode is not displayed normally.

OnePlus 10T specifications

The OnePlus 10T features a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ LTPO2 10-bit AMOLED panel that supports a 120Hz high refresh display. The display also hosts the fingerprint sensor under the panel. Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm-sourced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The storage is not expandable. 

The OnePlus 10T draws juice from a 4,800mAh battery and supports 150W SUPERVOOC fast charging. The device features a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary with OIS support, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor. Front camera duties are taken care of by a 16MP sensor. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G cellular network.

Recently, the OnePlus 10T received a software update that brought along the support for Jio 5G
