Alongside the launch of the much-awaited OnePlus 11 on Wednesday, the global smartphone brand launched the new OnePlus Buds Pro 2 as the successor to the OnePlus Buds Pro. However, those looking forward to the OnePlus 11 Pro are in for a disappointment as OnePlus China President Li JieLouis has said that there will be no ‘Pro’ model in the OnePlus 11 series this year.
OnePlus 11 Pro launch not happening
A Weibo user commented on JieLouis’s post about OnePlus 11’s sales, saying he would be consider buying the OnePlus 11 at the announced price if there were no Pro model available. The OnePlus China President responded saying there will be no OnePlus 11 Pro.
The other models in the OnePlus 11 series still remain a mystery though. We came across leaked images of a purported OnePlus 11R, though if and when it would launch still remains a mystery. The OnePlus 11T, which could be the company’s follow-up to the OnePlus 10T, released in the second half of 2022, is another rumoured possibility.
